Snail/slug ID Please!
I posted this in the invert forum already, just trying to get a quick response...sorry to bug everyone.
I found this crawling around one of my corals (not eating it, just crawling around.) So, into a test tube he went until I knew what he was. Any ideas / is it reef safe? Thanks so much! Just a lil help, he looks like a snail, but I'm not sure if that's a shell on his back or not. He also has long hairs (about his body length long) all over his back. The shell looking thing is a marbled/speckled black and white. |

Looks like it might be a stomatella, but need better pics. There's too much distortion in that test tube. Put it into a larger container and take a shot of it top down, front, and underneath.
