Nice pics. I'm trying to decide what fish will be my first to add as a tank mate for my clown pair. How's your firefish and the watchman goby as far as temperament?

Thanks everyone...

Yeah 6 fish is a lot, but I have a great clean up crew, and an oversized protein skimmer. The hippo was supposed to be out a week ago, but I can't catch the darn thing. It was just put in to help clean up some red bubble algae (did a wonderful job, I may add...)

As far as temperaments...I've been very lucky with my fish, in that most get along great. The only one that gives anyone trouble is my large clown...and thats only if someone goes near her frogspawn. The firefish & yellow watchman are very peaceful, actually quite shy.

Is the flasher wrasse really active? I've always been interested in them, but was afraid of them jumping out.

Sugarfox- did you buy the little guy from a store with the intent of him going back after his job was done? Or a friend loaned him to ya?

With a fish like that, I have heard people having to remove all the rock from their tanks entirely and still having a hard time. Good luck though, catch him while he ain't looking

Dark: Yes, the wrasse has been in there a few weeks now and goes all over the tank. For the first week or so he mostly hid in the rocks. All of my fish are pretty peaceful so he doesn't get picked on at all...they will hide if picked on. I had to put egg crate over the top of the tank, because I was afraid he might jump if spooked. I painted it black and hardly see it now. I also cut a hole in the middle where the MH is, so the light wouldn't be obstructed.

Reefman: I bought him from a store, but had no plans on taking him back there. I have a friend who has a 100+ gallon tank thats taking him, and trading me some corals in return - thats the plan.

I'm going to see if I can get him out before lights go on the morning. He sleeps right behind one of the MJ pumps. So I'm thinking that I'll stick the net in there and go behind him and touch his caudal fin and hopefully have him swim right into the net. Now, I definately don't plan on this working...but I can sure hope! I'm dedicating this Saturday to hippo catching...so he will be out this weekend. I will not remove the rock from the tank - too much work, and I refuse to stress everything out like that.
