Playstation 2 on a computer monitor

I have a Xbox 360 but use it approx an hour per month. I'm thinking of getting a playstation 2 just for the Gran Turismo 4. Sure there are various opinions on Forza vs GT4 but I want to use GT4.

However, I would like to use it with a LCD computer monitor (I have one that is not being used).

Anyone have experience with using PS2 on a LCD monitor/ Wopuld you recommend it? How could that be done?

TIA

I could check for you, but that means I'd have to take my PS2 out of the box for the first time. I'll do that for you in exchange for renaming her to Nina1751.

Nina1751

She looks three times younger.

51 / 3 = 17

I can run mine on my computer LCD, but I have a TV Tuner card that has RCA input jacks. I don't think you could do it otherwise.

What is the refreash rate of your monitor, that is all that matters for video games. Your processor and memory has no real effect on it. Mine is a AMD 64 3200+, with 1gb of ram, and a cheap FX5200 video card. My monitor has an 8ms refreash and I see no ghosting.
