Kitty Pics

Too many dog threads around here, so I thought I'd throw out a cat thread.

I just got a DSLR, and I've never used a SLR camera before, so I thought I'd share my first attempts. Unfortunately, the cat was the only willing model I had around.

The macro lens is fun:

I ought to frame that first pic of Singe (the cat), because he looks so angelic. Nevermind mind the fact that he likes to attack and rape Christmas tree angels.

Looks can be very decieving huh Les. What did you bribe him with to sit still long enough to take those pics?

What is the last one a pic of?

Are you kidding? This slug will lay in the same spot for 18 hours straight without moving. Last night, I had to throw a pillow at him to make sure he will still alive, LOL.

The last pic is the outake siphon of my squamosa clam.

Thanks for the compliments. I still have so much to learn/figure out. I never did figure out all the buttons on my last point and shoot, and this camera has more.

ShootMe, I fell in love with his blue eyes when I found him at the pound. I found his profile online at the shelter website, and I knew I had to have him. Good thing, since he was on kitty death row! After I got him home, I learned the hard way why he was on death row. Little bastard loves the taste of flesh, especially mine!

When you threw the pillow at him did he give you that look of "your dead" to me? I love that look when you wake them up. Slug.....LMAO!!

Cool shot of the clam. So close up I had no idea what it was. You are getting the hang of the pic taking quickly I think. I still suck wind.

Abused kitty? The last time I wore a short sleeve shirt in public, a customer asked me if I was a cutter. I replied, "no, I just have a Siamese at home."

Well, you can't accuse me of not thinking of you!

Annick....I didn't get close to Singe for those pics....that's what the macro and zoom lenses are for.

Ugh....a white cat with green eyes always sends cold shivers down my spine. My ex had this white cat that was nothing but a fat ball of hissing, spitting, and scratching. We never got along...I guess we were too much alike.

LOL, wow that was easy. Love you too Les!

We got a room once and all we could find to do was watch soaps and complain about the way the actors were dressed!
