I have a lord that I got about a year ago that changes from blue to purple, depending on the lighting I keep it under.
I call it the Blueberry lord.

May 2004 Under 10K MH

July 2004 under same lighting

August 2004 same lighting (check out the siamese polyps on the bottom)

October 2004 Flash only

December 2004 Power compact lighting, top down shot

February 2005 Very intense 10K MH

That lighting setup actually burned a few holes in the flesh. The corals color looked cool, but it was all closed up from too much light.

Here it is in April 2005, back to the purpleish color. The mouths have a nice teal look to them now.

I never know what color this lord will turn next. One thing for sure is that it's a fast grower.

My new frags:
This one is a bit more green than it shows.

This one has cool little splotches of green.

Neon green mouths.

Greener body with neon green mouths.

I just finished aclamating them. Will be interesting to see what they turn to once they settle in

Thanks Tigah. You were the first person I've given a frag of it to. I've only given one other away so far.
I think a few other people got this color variety before the original colony was lost.

The market is definitely open big time for them. Plenty on Ebay. The lord's are still a little tough but becomming more prominantly available through frags and some wild colonies.
