to foam or not to foam?
I am getting my tank drilled and am debating using foam instead of rock for the auascape. this way I can create my perfect auascape, and make lots of caves and chambers. should I use it? need answers quick. also, how can I shape the aquascape, eggcrate?

if u use foam make shure that u have a VERY GOOD WAY to keep it down. i have seen a few people have there foam pop up while at work. i used a combo of diy live rock and pond foam to get some of my aquascape done.

if I foam it over rock, and place it directly on the bottom of the tank would that keep it ancored down? it will also probly be siliconed to the bottom.

test to see if it floats in the bathtub first and see how much silicone to use if u need to use it.

I'm not sold on the whole foam idea.... It may resemble rock when you're done or it may resemble foam... At any rate you won't get the benefits of rock...
