Name my puppy, win $100.00!!!

No, not really!! But I AM desperate!! And since we're on a "name my..." roll...

We’ve had this new little bundle of joy since Saturday, and we can’t decide on a name for her yet! Nothing we’ve come up with seems to fit, so I’m asking for your help to NAME OUR PUPPY!

We got her at the local pound. She’s about a 4 – 5 month old stray. Pound & vet say possibly part Australian Shepherd, maybe Heeler, maybe Border Collie. All I know for certain is that she’s one big bundle of energy and she’s very smart.

I was thinking along the lines of star or constellation names, or maybe something from mythology. You know, something different.

“Sprockett was suggested in another thread. Cute, but doesn’t fit. (And I grew up on Fraggle Rock!!!)

“Lilly is a possibility, since we also have a boy named Tiger. (Tiger Lilly – get it??) But Lilly sounds a little too old fashioned…

“Phoebe was another possibility, because when she flops around she looks just like Phoebe running on Friends. Maybe.

If I don’t like your suggestion – nothing personal! I just have to hear one that sounds right. Let ‘em fly!!

"Ritalin" is going to be the command for "calm down and take a break before I go insane!"

I liked Isis, but she doesn't seem to.

Skye's good too...

Someone else (not here) mentioned "Calliopie" (sp??) or "Cally" for short. Or Jallopy, Jelly for short...

Still thinking.....

She could always opt for "Grendel"! Actually, I know someone with a dog named Grendel. That dog was awesome.

Spookie
Saddie
"Speedy" Gonzalez
Pinky (Fonzie's girlfirend)
Crystal
Lady

These are a few names I like, but since I have all boys (animals) it's hard to think of a girls.

Good luck - what a cutie - she definately has border collie in her. I hope you have plenty of time to giver her because boredom causes behavior problems. What a face!
