everything seems to be ok. a few power lags, but no outages yet. a gentleman down the road was killed when a tree fell on him. so be careful out there y'all!

Crystal trees: if the sun comes out, hit the road and get pix: it'll be incredible.

Here's hoping the trees are still green enough to bounce back ok and that the lines hold.

the forecast says 3 more inches of "rain" by tuesday, not getting above freezing. next chance for sun is wednesday/thursday. i'll certainly have the camera (as lame as it is) out for more shots. including tonight, i've got to get my lights shining through the ice!

yep english, i was awakened by the delicate sound of thunder and cracking cedars.

Nina just called. She's without power. She said lines are down actually on the ground. There's a tree in the back of her truck. They said it may be days before they get power back. Didn't talk long, didn't want to use up her battery on her cell. The trees her and Gary have been babying for years are distressed. I forget what she said exactly, but she's sitting in the dark thinking about Gary. Wish there was something I could do for her.

thank you all for your well wishes! i'm thankful for our only slightly inconvenienced situation.

it could be much worse, so i'm forwarding your good thoughts to those who are in greater need.
