where to get Heat packs locally?

Hey guys, I have some plants that I need to ship out asap (and possibly some fish as well)....any recommendations on where to get heat packs?

The only ones I could find so far only last 8, 10, or 12 hours.....much unlike the ones on kensfish.com.....

Problem is they are sold by the case and no real local LFS goes thru enough to buy a whole case. That being said, you can try places that do ship like Atlantis Aquarium in Hayward and New Alameda Aquatics in Alameda.

FWIW this question comes up fairly often on this actual forum(BAR-RC) so a simple search could yield for more results then I have given

thanks GreshamH, I'll try to contact New Alameda Aquatics.....

As for the search thing....the search button here doesn't like me, and I'm unsure if I can use google to only search through this particular subforum....unless there's another method that I don't know of.....

don't worry about it GreshamH, I'm sure someone else knows and will educate me

the only one I know is to search entire RC, like

site:reefcentral.com heat pack

EDIT: hehe I think just by adding "(BAR)" that does it...

site:reefcentral.com heat pack (BAR)

Aquatic Central in SF has them as well.. He has a couple of cases downstairs...

I think Kordon the maker of the breather bags sells them as well.. I thought they were in Hayward somewhere.. Maybe Ian will Chime in as to where he got his from.. I know they are local east bay somewhere...

This is the way I search normally if I can't get the regular search button to work..
