Baby Octopus on my glass

Just was wondering if anyone else has gotten "Hitchiker" octopus before? I have 2 small octopus, they are very tiny, tansparent, and I can see what they have been eating (copepods maybe). They have eight tentacles and I can barely make out their suction cups. I would take pictures but they are way too small, maybe only 1 milimeter. just thought I would share!

I just picked up the LR from a local LFS nearby, I think they are coming from some eggs that I have under a rock, but they are definately little octopus

I'm seeing the same thing in my tank, thought maybe they were tiny star fish or something, they are so small you can barely see them, they come out at night, last night I waited 2 hr. with the light off and then took a flash light to the live rock and found two of them living in the same hole in my rock. I wonder if they could have come from the live sand I just added to my crushed coral 3 days ago. That live sand is well worth the extra money, it was full of copepods. I'm still new at the hobby and learning more everyday. What a world I got myself into, this is awsome.

I have the same thing on the glass of my tank. They are just as small as copepods.

March is prime breeding season for Octopus mercatoris from Florida. We have a couple of females currently brooding that were taken in live rock in late February. O. mercatoris has large eggs and does not have a planktonic larval stage. We have successfully raised them on amphipods and enriced live brine shrimp. It would not be unusual to buy LR at this time of year that contained a brooding female. She might bail, but the eggs would probably hatch.
