Which clams are easiest to keep

I have a 48" TEK T-5 light fixture with 6 54 watt High out put bulbs over my 75 gallon reef, I was wondering what I could have that would do awsome on the sand. Are there any clams that will actually burry there bodiesand just expose there mantal? I want to get a clam, but I had a crocea that was doing awsome for a few weeks and then it kicked the bucket, I have all my parameters where they need to be, and I cant figure out for the life of me why it died. Its frustrating.

you have the same fixture that I have. I keep crocea, maxima, gigas, squamosa, and derasa.

How old is your tank, do you have pictures of the clam before it died, what kind of other tank inhabitants do you have, what are your water paramaters.

Awsome, I dont have pictures of hte clam before it died but I am doing alot of research tonight, I work nights and so I have some free time all nightlong. The tank has been up and running at my place for around 7 months and it was an existing system that i bought. The water parameters are
ammonia 0
trates 0
trites0
calcium is 460 (a bit higher then I like)
dkh 9
ph 8.2

What other parameters would you like:? I dont have a mag test. I dose a two part solution. I did have a cleaner shrimp that was picking on it, but i think that it had already started to kick the bucket. could the cleaner shrimp have killed it?

Chris, you have some GORGEOUS clams! I have the 6 X 54Watts T5s as well. Could you please tell me where in your tank you keep the clams and what bulb combo you are using?

Thanks so much.

Thank you for the compiment. My derasa and my gigas are on the sand bed. My squamosa's and maxima's are in the middle of the tank about 8" off the bottom and the crocea's are towards the top about 14" up.

I think I have 2 each of atinic+, aquablue, and 6500k
