Unhappy Giving away my Aussie Harlequin Tusk

I love this fish. I've had him for 2 years, he's about 5"-6". He's a great fish, very healthy and never had any problems with him. I've decided that I needed a cleanup crew for the long term health of my tank. If you know anything about this fish, you know...he eats all kinds of crustaceans.

Anyone interested? I don't want to ship him, so pick up is the only way.

I'm not asking for any money. I just want to know that he's going to a healthy tank, and won't be resold. I know I can't do much to police this...so I guess I'll base it on good ole' Reef Central trust!

Em me if interested. I live in New London, CT.

Hmm, 2352 miles total, car gets ~25 miles per gallon highway average, 94 gallons total required, $296.35 total cost. Damn, if you had two it be worth the drive.

What about using urchins? Pincushion urchins stay small & do a good job. The ones that are white/pinkish will devour all kinds of algae.

Those large mexican turbos snails that are 1-2" should be able to hold up too.

Also consider tiger cowries and/or large queen conchs? That is what I was planning on doing with an aggressive set up, with a really big hermit or two. People have had similar CUC that have survived triggers and puffers, I am sure they are worse then a tusk.

Hey Hermitage,
Do you still have the Tusk? I live about 30 minutes from you and have a great tank to put him in that's not overstocked (92 corner). Let me know

Have you tried the clean up crew? I have some friends that have them with snails and they are fine.
