info on turbo floater skimmers

Anyone tried the turbo floater skimmers? Also how well do they work in the HOT configuration? How is the noise level?
Thanks.

I had one on my 180g with a very light bioload and really liked it. I then bought a CSS220 thinking I was upgrading but didn't see any improvement. I then bought a ER-RS250 which I love.

I had one that I had in sump. Not hang over the back. I switched to an Euro Reef and saw a big improvement FWIW.

I've still got the Turbo Floater if somebody want it..

I have used a turbofloater for several years. You may want to consider another skimmer. It does a decent job of skimming, but I think there is better out there.

Good performance, easy setup and maintanence, and fairly affordable.

Sure there are better skimmers, but most are very spendy and much more finicky about adjustments.
