Lighting Question...

I'm about to set up a 29 gallon tank and I don't want to use halides. It seems like the only 30 inch fixtures that I've found seem to be pc and I don't want to use those either. So is my best bet to use a 24 inch t-5 unit?
Thanks,
Roland

Your going to be short on both sides about 2.5 inches. I guess if you don't keep any coral on either end, you would be ok.

Just keep everything light demanding in the middle and up towards the light. Also go with a good fixture with individual reflectors, like the tek 4 bulb. Will give you more light than you think.

how about a retro fit.you can stager the bulbs in a hood you construct from wood.thats what i do for 30 inch tanks with great results.
