Here is a pic of my Long Tentacle Plate Coral. I purchased it couple months ago and I think it is doing very well. It inflates during the day increasing its size by almost 4 times and deflates at night. Its is about 6" in diameter and during the day it can reach 11" in diameter and its tentacles are about 10" to 11".

Here are some shots!!!

Big orange

Trying to bring back a little orange plate

New purple rim that is still on the wrong cycle, only expands and looks happy at night.

Really sweet pics, thanks for sharing. I was wondering about a couple of the pics. Can they be placed next too, touching in fact other lps? Such as the pic with the bubble coral and the plate touching? Once again thanks for the pics.

Plate budding

Atzak, some amazing pics you have there. Can you describe/explain a little bit of the process/stages/timeline that your plate went thru? I'm am very interested.

You must have freaked out when the tissue started receding. Hard to tell from the first pic but it almost seems like it's dying. How did you know it was asexual reproduction?

Hey sorry for the high jack but mine will only fully inflate if they are on my rocks, should they be on the ground or should I leave them be. The are both short tentacle and ones green the other is bright orange.

Do the bright orange variety come in the long tentacle form? If so, how has one for sale?
