Recommendations needed: Penductors or Maxijet mods for 120g SPS?

I'm torn on my flow setup for my (48x24) 120g upgrade. I had planned to use maxijet mods, but I got an Iwaki pressure pump along with my tank. I have no experience with penductors

Which would you choose?

1) 3-4 maxijet mods at ~1500gph each
Advantages: low power consumption, greater variability of flow

2) Iwaki MD-70RLT closed loop with 2 penductors. I estimate the penductors would increase the 1500gph 2-3 times...
Advantages: aesthetics

I'd go with the MJ, but I like the flexibility of powerheads.

penductors pretty much only work if you have a pressure rated pump (= $$ in watts). reeflo pumps aren't pressure rated =(

On my 48x48x25 cube, I'm running two Tunze 6201's, four mj900 mods, and a panworld 200ps return pump with two penductors.

My tank is basically two of your tanks put together. IMO you can use both mj mods and penductors.

isnt a modded maxijet like...10-20 dollars away from a tunze nano?

nvm...with the magnet....but imo, suction cups are the worst things EVER.

Well it cost $200 for four mj mods, four mj 900's, and two suregrip 100 magnets which will hold two mj mods on each magnet. I love Tunze, but the mj mods are a bargain.
