Exclamation Big Hair Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, PO4 test 0 with salifert- But i have hair algea- So what does this mean, How do I get rif of it --- ALK 3.8 Salifert Cal 425 Same- temp 78

Whats the water source ? What do you use for flow. Have you replaced bulbs or added new light? Or any other new change ? Assuming this is the 10 yr tank.

no its not its only a yr old ro/di water is used TDS is reading 0- 2 tunze 6000 on a 7095-yes i did put new lights on about 1 mnth ago went from T5's to 3 250 Se 12k reeflux/w 2 140w actinics VHOcould i be Overfeeding ?

Moved to New to the Hobby for more views.

Overfeeding would be my first guess. Growing and harvesting a macroalga might help a lot, though. A phosphate reactor might be useful, too, to outcompete the hair alga.

Get your hand in and pull it out as much as you can. Run phosban and macroalgae
