Transporting Frag Swap Goodies??

I was planning on going to the MTRC frag swap in a couple of weeks and plan to bring back a few new inhabitants for my tank. This is my first swap and I live three hours from the swap and it will likely be cold. I was thinking of taking a cooler with water from the system and a heater that I will run on an inverter in my truck to keep the temperature normal for the drive home. I was going to float them all the way home using the extra water as thermal mass so they don't get cold. I wanted thoughts on this or is it overkill? Is there any other equipment or supplies I should bring? Thanks!

No that sounds good to me.Nice idea with the heater with the power inverter.

You can also take a lunch or styrofoam cooler and put them in there with a hand warmer pack.

tank o tang - Thanks for the thought, I'll bring that stuff also if I only get a couple of frags.

Is there any treatments or meds that I might need for the trip? I plan on getting mostly Zoanthids and Rics. Thanks!!
