What's your screen resolution??

I'm working on a website for my fish. I've tried it out on other peoples computers and have come to realize it looks horrible when its not on my resolution.
Mine is 1280 X 768, whats yours?
Right click on the desktop. Click 'Properties' then click 'Settings'
Thanks.

Wow thanks guys.. This is the cross section I need. I've been running into many people who use the 800 X 600 default..

I can't believe there are people out there still using 800x600! Are you guys using 13" monitors?

I run 1600x1200 and have for about 4 years.

1280 x 1024 which is the native resolution of my LCD display. You should always run the native resolution on a fixed pixel (non CRT) display. Anything else will not be sharp.

1600x1200 on my Thinkpad and on my desktop. Laptop is 16" viewable and desktop monitor is 19". Love the real estate with the higher resolution. Default font settings don't bother me.

Wish I dual monitors!!!

I've been in the web development business since 1995. 800 X 600 at 72 dpi is the most widely used resolution and is generally what you want to stay within, but higher res. and widescreen monitors are becoming more commonplace nowadays. I'd still stay under 900-1000 px wide if you want to avoid an annoying horizontal scroll for the vast majority of people.
