FS: Two Brand New 150 HQI Ballasts

I have two brand new JBJ 150 HQI ballasts for sale, which I recieved just last night. They are the ballasts that came with my JBJ Viper K-2 clamp-on metal halides (shown here ). They are very nice ballasts, but I am replacing them with IceCap electronic ballasts for size consideration. I can hear no hum!

There is a quick-disconnect plug/socket between the ballast and the lamp. Because it is relatively close to the ballast box, I will cut the lamp cord (to splice in the IceCap ballasts) downstream (relative to the ballast box), thus leaving the quick-disconnect in place for you.

I would prefer to sell them both together, but will consider reasonable offer for individually.

For both, $135 shipped/insured in continental U.S, payment by PayPal please.

Please email me at kmfagin@yahoo.com if interested (instead of PM's). I will respond in order of emails there.

Thanks for your interest.

Ken

evening bump. (this forum moves so fast these listings sink out of sight very quickly. hence the bump; not impatience)

Yes, they will have the quick disconnects, so all you will need to do is splice the "tail" end of the remaining cord into the cord leading to your socket, as follows (X=splice, where I cut the lamp cord and where you will connect into your existing lamp cord):

Ballast--------QD ------X X------------lamp socket

Price is as shipped. I don't know weights/dimensions, so I don't know how much shipping, per se, would be to your zip. Rather than answering multiple request for shipping cost to various zip codes, I just make it easy and set the price at what it is. Closer shipping costs me a little less; further shipping costs me a little more. C'est la vie! Having shipped other ballasts (when I similarly switched out the ones that came with the main lighting fixture, which I'm supplementing with the JBJ's), I think shipping was around $25 or $30.

I hope this helps, and thanks for your interest.

I just got them Monday evening brand new. I ran one yesterday for eight hours; the other is still in the box, completely unused. (Before shipping, I would, of course, power it up to make sure it works.) Shipping would be in the original boxes. As noted, the only reason I'm swapping them out is for size consieration. (Per my better half, all gear must fit into/behind cabinet, but I've got too much stuff there already for these to fit.)
