Car Audiophiles! I need your help!
The AM radio of my Camry doesn't work anymore although the FM and everything else is fine. I read around a bit and my guess is something is wrong w/ the antenna cable since I did disconnect it a few times to change the headunit and install a changer.
So what to do now? Is the cable easily repairable/replaceable? Is there a way to tell which is broken?

Was the CD changer hooked up with an FM modulator?

Yes exactly. Could that be the issue?

Aren't there seperate antennas for AM and FM? The AM antenna should be inside the head unit.

There is only one antenna cable. Whether the AM antenna is there or in the unit... I have no clue

It's probably inside the head unit. AM antennas are small wire-wrapped metal bars, only about 2 inches long. HTH
