ARO VHO ballast is sold, one of my ACII units is pending a trade.

I still have one complete ACII unit left and all the rest.

Lots of inquiries on the reactor.

More info:

The remaining Aquacontroller II is backlit, comes with STANDARD probes. The probes have not been out of the water and are about 6 months old. I will ship probes with tips in plastic bags, submerged in some tank water so as not to damage the probes. It does NOT come with Aquanotes. I will NOT split up any pieces and sell them separately.

The calcium reactor is brand new, build by a local fish shop that specializes in custom acrylic fabrication. It's a dual chamber with a mag feed pump. Includes all the tubing, pump, dual guages with sylenoid and co2 bottle. All you need to add is the bubble counter. It's rated for up to 500-600 gallons. I have one just like it on my other system and it works great.

Will try to post pics of the reactor soon.

You still have the Aquacontroller and parts?

Is the Aquacontoller something a new hobbyist with a reef setup should tackle? Or, better yet, is it something that makes the new reef keeper's hobby that much simpler?

Thanks

That's great- congratulations on selling everything.

Would the community here recommend 'advanced' equipment for the newer hobbyist as being a time/life saver, or are the controllers more hassle than haven?

Absolutely I would recommend. I had 3 total but took down a large propagation system that I had 2 of them on. I still have one on my main tank. I highly recommend one, even to the novice.

Hi Folks,

I really need your help!

Do you know where is sspargur? I sent him many email but I didn't receive any response. I also tried to send him a lot of pm but his pm box is also full...I got a problem trading with his last month. Please see the details below for more information.

I was traded with this man for couple corals (Purple Monster, Blue tort and acan lords) to get his Aqua Controller II...After we both agreed with the trading so I sent to him all corals that he requested for trading on Monday July 18, 2005 at 5:00 pm in the evening with Fedex priority next day at 10:30 am at his door....On Tuesday July 19 he did receive the package I sent to him but he did clam that all my corals were dead due to weather (temperature over 90 degree)...I just asked couple question to clear his statement if I'm wondering why the temperature was over 90 degreed because I wouldn't believe it in that since I sent to him at 5:00 pm without heat pack by that time the weather is not hot more than 80 degree and he received the corals in the morning the weather was not hot yet...after discussion with him by email I requested him to send me couple pictures for the evident that he received the dead corals...He stated that his camera was packed up and he's already on the plan for his trip. I was patience to request him sending picture after he came back 3 weeks from his trip....Last week he sent me a email that he came back... he asked me to give him a day to settle and he will send picture to me...up until now I didn't receive his pictures. I also send him many email to request for the picture but he didn't response my emaisl or sent any pictures back to me....his RC pm is also full up from the last couple week, I couldn't pm him. Please let me know about his situation if you know.
Couple pm were sent to RC staff for this situation...I hope they will investigate this problem..

Thanks
Tony

Tony - I did reply to your email and attach photos. You might want to check your email filters. Here is a picture of the dead acan. Get your facts straight on the temperatures too.

No, I didn't receive the email with photo that you sent to me...I also sent couple email to you last couple days regarding the photo but you were not response....All the email that you sent to me during the trading I still kept them.

This was not the acan lords that I sent to you ...Remember I sent to you 5 big heads plus 3 babies on the site...They also mounted on the rock because I cut them and mounted on the rock for heal and healthy in my tank couple days before sent to you...very good try but wrong picture.

How about the blue tort and purple monster pictures....I want to see their pictures since you told me that all dead...remember I knew what is my corals.

Tony

Sigh - that is the piece you sent Tony. It detached from the rock during shipping.

OK! Here is something that untrue from you....
You told me that you already sent the photos to my email, but take a look at your photo on the top you just took the picture yesterday when you saw my post in the RC early in the morning.

Date picture taken 8/12/05 8:58 AM....

Please send me your Aqua Controller II or you must send me back all my healthy corals that I sent to you...Do not rid me off.

Tony
