New Coral Propagation Tank (PICS)

Here is a few shots of a coral propagation tank that I just set up tonight. It is a 20g with around 20lbs of [acronym="Live rock"]LR[/acronym], [acronym="Hang On Back"]HOB[/acronym] filter, Chaeto, heater, 2 [acronym="power head or Measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions, depending on context"]PH[/acronym]'s set up to run through [acronym="Plastic pipe"]pvc[/acronym] and spray out drilled holes to keep the flow sparatic. I will be adding some zoos and leather [acronym="Broken or cut pieces of coral which will eventually grow into a new animal"]frags[/acronym] tomorrow hopefully when I get the all clear on the tank parimeters. The tank has been set up with just [acronym="Live rock"]LR[/acronym] and sand for about a month now. All of the stuff came from my established reef.

Mekong: Yes it is..LOL! I was waiting on someone to comment. I tried to use material that I already had to get this tank done. The PVC with the valve on it was from my old 75g return. I used to PH's to hold it up, and the PH on the right is a very cheap and weak ph. I drilled holes in the pvc after the valve to control the flow and believe it or not it works great! All in all I spent and extra $10 on this tank for parts I didnt already have.

It doesn't look like there is good lighting in that tank. What is over it?

There is 130w of Compacts which is a little over 6wpg and there is a flood lamp over the chaeto which keeps it growing like mad. I have a BUCKET full of chaeto in my fuge under my 125g which came to me in a sandwich bag.

Oh ya the pic was a bit foggy since I had just set it up. That may make it look kinda dull.

That is the same over my tank but the flood lamp must give it a yellow glow.

I would guess that his show (main) tank is off to the right of his prop tank and we are seeing the Actinic 03's...

I like that prop set up. It looks like you run your own store.
