Bristle Worms
Hey guys,
I have read this on Marine Depot about bristle worms.. "Bristle worms grow and multiply rapidly and must be removed quickly to prevent them from becoming a problem. Regular use of Trap'Em will keep bristle worms from eating your prized specimens." However, those of you on here think they are okay to have...I have some corals (zoos, xenia, green star polyps and don't want them to be attacked... What do you guys think?

I think they're fine, in general. There's one species of bristleworm that can cause problems, and it's unlikely that you have one. If so, you can find and remove it quickly. Also, you should already be missing corals if so.
This article is useful, IMO: http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2003-04/rs/index.htm

They are trying to sell a trap, can't blame them for throwing feces around like that.
Crabs and shrimp do far more damage, overall, and no one is freaking about them. Not to mention fish and other predators.

Bristleworms are your pals!
I have lots of the little guys and the only thing they do is to eat leftover food (a very good thing). I have never even seen one NEAR a coral. Crystal
