how many outlets for a 40 breeder
I plan on setting up a manfold return on a 40 breeder. what I would like to know is how many outlets I should install? I currently have 5. Will this be enough? This tank will be dominately lps and soft with plans to add a clam or two and when I am ready to undertake the challenge a sps or two. I'm assuming with the minimum of 300 gph per outlet the total required flow would be 1500 gph. Will this be enough or should I push for more. sorry for the long post. Just want to make sure I do this right.

five outlets will be very fine for a 40 gall breeder water flow manifold. But do consider always having extra tees and cap them as needed (move the caps as flow needs change in the tank over time, etc... but have those extras there as they are much easier to build in earlier than add later
