Very nice, do you know the square tubing size and gauge? My welder was asking for the info for my new stand.
Thanks
Dave

2" Square

.083 gauge

~ $1.90/linear foot locally

Steel stands are awesome. They give you so much room under the tank.

Good luck.

Keith, did you weld it yourself? Those are great looking welds... I hope to build a stand that nice one day.

Awesome job.

Thanks all,

reefer20G, yes I bought a millermatic 185 a few years ago and I couldn't be happier with this machine. I never had any problems with it.

Thanks
Keith

I picked up the stand last night, powder coating complete. I got it done in white, it looks pretty cool.

Just wanted to recommend:

1) Steel stands in general
2) Keith - great work, as seen in this thread.
3) Arizona Powder Coat - extremely nice and courteous. Less than $100. I paid $125 because I asked them to rush it through, but if I could have waited 5 days, it would have been $95.

How much would you charge for a stand like this?

72 x 24 or maybe 72 x 30

I am a member of the powder coated steel stand club as well and I will never go back to a wood stand again. That is a fine looking stand before powdercoating David you need to put up a few pics of it now that it is done. How are you going to skin it?

Talk about an old thread! Wow!

I think that lhoo owns this stand now, powdercoated white with a monstrous tank on it. Invincible569, are you local? There are a couple of talented welders around here that would help build something for you.

I believe Keith is still lurking around, but, sg1.025 was quoted as saying Keith was "out for a bit" with a broken leg/ankle?.

I know army67romeo has also built a few steel stands, you may want to try contacting him if you need something before keith jackson gets back "in for a bit"

Hey great looking stand, and clean welds. I have to agree with you, miller does have great machines. I too have had my welder and plasma cutter for over a yr without any issues. They also have a great technical support team.
