There not ppes. Note there is no green slit. I believe they're called joker palythoas.Still rare but not quite ppes.I like them though and do have some frags in my propagation tank. I'm just not a real active seller except for an occasional sale to my friends Joe and Annette at Salt Water Paradise. If I do get into selling I'll let you know. Glad you like them.

Do you run carbon? Regular water changes? Skimmer

Yes 32ozs of carbon (a 16oz bag in the sump for slow flow effect and two 8oz bags in a fluval404 hooked up to the 120g- I change it every 30days). I also use abut 4x8inches of polypad/some in the sump and some in the 404. The 404 also drives a 40w uv which is plumbed to the 120g.The 90 g has an 18watt uv plumbed to it.

Top off is 3,5 gallons per day(RO/DI saturated kalk drip at night).I change approximately 70 gallons of water per month on the 400g system.I use Coralife salt mix. These changes are done coincident with scheduled maintenance and range in size from 10 to 20 gallons at a time.

The skimmer is an ASM 4x.

Other "beans":The two soon to be three display tanks are joined at the basement sump with four smaller tanks which total 120g. Two are propagtion tanks(one of them is a 30g breeder with a 4 inch sand bed);the other two (49gallons total) are used for opposite photo fugia and contain chaeatomorpha and red kelp. The 90g display tank also has a deep sand bed.The basement tanks are open water as is the sump.

I dose 5ml of tech1 iodide per day. I go on and off with strontium dosing because I haven't decided it if does more harm than good.

In addition to the nightly kalk drip, there is a 24/7 k24 calcium reactor.

The sump consists of two 44 gallon bins bulkheaded together. One of them is a third no light refugium with rock and rubble(a quasi crptic zone).

Plumbing. 60feet of 2inch pipe each way handle drain and return from the display tanks powered by an Iwaki 100. The basement tanks(4) a fed from the sump as well by a Mag 24. Thes 4 have independent drains with two going to the second rubble filled bin.

Water parameters; Temperature 78-80 F,Sg 1.025+a bit, amonia,nitite,nitrate are undetectable,Calcium 430ppm,Alk 4.0 meq/l11.2dkh,Magnesium 1375ppm,Ph( high 8.3 at 4pm/ low 8.1/10pm).

Thanks for asking and Gary thanks again to you and dreminmel for getting me started whith photos.

Great looking tanks!! Nice scopas tang in the first photo. They are my favorite tang. I had one for years, and wish I still did. Unfortunately, I don't have room to add one now.

Thankyou kimfdim,
I collected them over aperiod of 4 years. Some from on line vendors , some from ebay, a few from Steve Helinski, a few from Kieth Magyar,a few from Erwin, some from Randy O and the majority from Salt Water Paradise.
Thanks again for your compliments.

Nice scopas tang
Thanks cardiffgiant It was one of the best colored specimens I had seen so I decided on the scopas for my tank instead of a Chevron. I like the blac markings and eyes.

Is that scolymia blue?
Glad you like it downset . It has bluish highlights but is more mint green than blue. The flash on made it look greyer than it is. It is actually a lobophylia corymbossa with multiple heads packed close together making it look more like a scolymia
