My attempt at closed loop U manifold

Here it is. It is run on a sequence 3200 (should go bigger) with 10 Loc-line nozzles. Water is drawn from a 1" bulkhead in the overflow so I had to drill an screened equalizing inlet above the sand. Here's some pics. Feed back appreciated.

1.5" to the T then reduces to 1" and then to 1/2" @ nozzles may redo to up to 3/4" Loc-Line

Sequence 3200 pump

Drilled thorugh the eurobracing to make it more manifold friendly.

You can see the EQ inlet on the front of the box (right of the pic)

Looks good, that pump may not handle all ten nozzels. But it should still give good flow until you can upgrade or just plug off a nozzle here and a nozzel there

yes... agreed, a fine/interesting variation. And the pump may not handle all ten nozzles... but that's OK. Having extra and plugging them as needed is better than throttling back an oversized pump from lack of effluent tees/nozzles.

Its really nice in time as the reefscape changes (corals grow, frag, die, move, whatever... and/or rocks get restacked). The flow needs of the tank change in time and you can easily adjust by unplugging some tees and plugging others as needed
