I meant in terms of documented rarer in the world's reefs.

And if you need to bid 2 grand for a few micro polyps (which I've seen in past), I would consider that supply side is not quite adequate.

According to whelk for micros:
Abundance: Uncommon in mainland Japan, rare elsewhere

For lords:
Abundance: Sometimes common.

There you go, there have been a few micros offered lately but I'd wager that there are far fewer micros in the country than there are lords

What is this one that I have?
I got a rock a couple weeks ago with nothing but dead skeletons and about 8 small polyps. Since then the polyps have multiplied to about 13. There are also some remnants of dead polyps turning into full polyps. Any one have some insight? Thanks.

The color around and inside the red is supposed to be showing a very brilliant green. Darn it.

Is that a good thing? I don't know much about the different types of lords at all. Is it one that is highly sought after? High dollar? I paid a couple bills for 8-10 polyps but could have been taken for all I know. It was just a spur of the moment purchase while I was buying something else at the time I was in the store.

It's a nice piece, they are all sought after. Give it a few months and feed it regulary and you will be VERY happy with it.

chow time, i believe this is acan. lord "not from indo", and not micro. as some have seen and determined, due to the way it feeds, and the steady growth of the polyps, and the location where its collected, all lords, no other micros. were found, thoughts?
