Thaks Jay.....My hope is to be able to make it on the 21st. I have a 10 month old baby and a wife that is not really into the hobby. That sometimes makes things difficult.

Wow! lots of action for the new club! thats AWESOME!
Thank You to everyone who is looking to make this the club to rival!

It seems like there are a lot of frags in our tanks right now... How do we all feel about donating a frag or two to the club, and then the club can take the frags to the NJRC event and sell them for a profit to the club?
I am all for swapping, but we can help our club, AND the jersey club if we wanted. --- Just putting it out there...

We (NJRC) did the same thing at Manhattan Reefs Swap in the Spring. It was very, very good for the Club both financially and comradery wise. The one thing that help us more than others was displaying our stuff in a tank with a light strip. I think it was a 30 Long.

I won't be able to make NJRC swap, but club is welcome to the acan for either sale at swap or raffle. You could frag it into many many pieces...

My wife was that way also at first. Then I purchased a wood chiper and a DVD player with the movie FARGO. She realized we did not have alot of trees. She is now a big fan of the hobby.

That was awesome!!! I will have to do the same with my wife.

I am paid!!! Not sure how many meetings I will make...ever, honestly with a wife who is not a huge supporter either, my weekly travel schedule and a 1 month old.

But, I am there in spirit!!!

I will do my best to donate some frags too. I have some green slimmer that needs serious trimming along with my scrips. I will see what else I can bring. I can't guarentee that they will be encrusted but this weekend I will do some fragging. I will also bring a frag or two of my loripies too.

I'm sure the need for one will come very very soon after a name is selected.

I sent my dues via snail mail so count me in! I couldn't make it to the last meeting so I am looking forward to meeting everyone on the 21st. I am a newbie and just set-up a tank. I only have 2 fish and no corals so I can't contribute any frags yet, but hopefully someday soon.....

Update

Mike @ TFZ will be donating the powerhead and a frag. The owner will also give discounts to club members.We can talk about how that will be handled at the meeting.

Jason the owner of premium Aquatics will also be sending a few items for our raffle.

The meeting should be fun.

Mary should I bring my own Rum???
