Got a new camera for Xmas, an Olympus E-510 and this is one of my first shots, hand held with the short kit lens, needless to say I'm having fun learning the camera :
Merry Christmas to all! Dave

Thanks Lynn.
Sully, I'm no expert on Olympus as I've only owned it for a few weeks. Through my research though, both Olympus lenses are reportedly pretty good, the 35 and the 50. The drawback is that you have no working distance with them. Sigma's fames 105, 150 and 180 are made for the 4/3rd's mount and give you the working distance and a lot of Nikon and Canon users use the 105 or 150. Another possibility is the Olympus 70-300. It's a Zoom lens that has telemacro ability and a magnification ration of 1:1. I've heard good things about the telephoto part, but I don't think I've heard anything at all about the telemacro part. So, for me right now, if I were getting a macro I would probably lean towards the Sigmas. All the shots above were done with the kit lenses. Thanks for looking, Dave
