Ditto... seems like I'm spending money on my tank faster than I can make it.

The aquascaping is nice.

Well, big plans for the tank within the next few months. The basement was temporary for the tank, but now it's going upstairs in our living room. I plan on making a basement sump with a 35 gallon refugium and a big DIY skimmer. Any reccomendations for a return pump? Something that will push at least 15 feet tall and have about 700gph. I think I'll throw a couple penductors on it too. Also, I'm going to get 4x54 T5s too.

Alright I've narrowed it down to either the Gen-x PCX-30 or the 40. Which do you think?

Aquascaping is sweet. Keep us posted on how the sump build comes along!

Pictures of the sump stand/area and place in the living rooms where the tank is going to go. Sorry about the white balance. I'm not the best with a camera. My return from the basement will be a GenX PCX30 with a penductor.

I changed my mind haha. I moved the tank upstairs today and the sump is coming up tomorrow. I hooked up an 8x54 watt T5 fixture and got about 80 pounds of base rock in the tank today. I will have pictures tomorrow. Everything is really coming together nicely.

So today I pretty much finished the tank today. All I have left is to hook the sump up tomorrow. All inhabitants are in the tank

Full tank:

Here's a room shot and im going to make a cabinet for the sump:

My dad made these mounts to hang my 8x54 watt T5 fixture:

My lieutenant tang:

Sorry, I know the white balance is off, I'm working on it though. I'm definitely going to change the aquascape too, I would like a few pillars in the tank. Things are going really good, I hope to start adding SPS in the next couple months.

Thanks Keith, I wish i could a get a picture of the tang's true color. It's solid white and its fine are lined black, blue, and yellow. One of these days I'll figure this camera out. Also, I've been pretty lazy after setting it up and I need to put that heater in the sump.

Very nice! Is there any specific reason why you didn't put the sump under the tank?

Well I had the sump under the tank once before, and it just felt really cramped when i tried to move stuff around. Also I don't know how tall my next skimmer will be so I wanted to leave plenty of height. I will be making a cabinet for the sump though.

Any comments?

Also, I've decided that I'm going to go with a smaller sump that will fit under the stand. Something around 29 gallons maybe. I should do this within the month I'm hoping.

I'm 14 and I have a 75 reef, 60 FOWLR, 45 octopus, and 20 frag tank. I buy almost all equipment either used or on sale. it takes way longer, but I save a bunch of $.

No just two tomato clowns, I got rid of the percs. The T5 fixture has just one reflector, I forget what bulb combo I'm running I'll check later...
