Great fish Dennis. Do you use a QT? I love the colors on the hawkfish.
Sally- Looks great. What are the dimensions of your tank?

This is the strangest thing but I just found what looks like all my feather duster worms that disappeared about 7 months ago. Any of you that are familiar with an Oceanic or AGA overflow will understand but they are between the walls of my overflow. I could see them through the small slits in the bottom.

Danielle, tank is 6' long by about 26" tall. It's a big sucker!!! LOL
Pat, sounds good!! I think part of my problem is I am using the camera's internet setting to set the size of the picture. Perhaps if I just resized it in Adobe and not made them quite that small, they would turn out better. I might fiddle around with that later today.

So that's why your pictures are always so small!!
Set your camera on the normal setting, and if necessary, just re-size it. I can send you a very simple re-sizing program. I've sent it to a few who post here and they like it. I don't remember what settings I had the Olympus camera on, but I never had to re-size them. They came out perfect each time. With my new camera, I have to reduce the pictures down to 25% of the original size. Dennis, I wonder what got hold of the featherdusters in the first place?

I have noticed a return of small feather dusters in my tank lately. When I first got my TBS rock I had tons of little feather dusters everywhere, most died or disappeared. Only my larger feather dusters and christmas tree worms survived. However, latelty I have seen a return of tiny feather duster worms, mostly in nooks and cranies where very little light gets in.
I do not have a sump or overflow, however I get LOTS of encrusting worms type things in my Bak-Bak skimmer along with Coraline algae growth in it. On my 75 gallon tank my Emperor 400 filter is completely encrusted on the inside with white worm like creatures just a few mm in length.

I had a whole rock that was covered with them and then one day they were all gone until yesterday. I thought something ate them.

I don't know how to use the camera yet, and i have a lot of trouble understanding things I read due to a brain injury. I just purchased a learning dvd to try and get the most out of the camera and learn how to use all the different settings. I know I would be able to get better pictures if I knew how to use the correct settings. Even though it's an entry level DSLR, it is pretty awesome. I am really happy I got it. I was going to get the d70, but I figured why bother....I probably won't even know how to use this one, and I was right. As long as I have good lenses, I can use it on a new body if I decide to upgrade in the future, but for now I have no plans to. This is good enough for me. I have no plans to "get into" photography and more than I do now.

Thanks everyone!
Hey all,
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me through my terrible ordeal with the Cirolanids. The support I got here really helped me stay in the hobby. I also wanted to announce that my Cirolanid saga has been put up in lights http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/bp/index.php And a little bit more about me: http://www.reefkeeping.com/authors/bp.php Thanks again to everyone here! Brian

Our new bulbs should be coming today.
I took a few pictures this morning. Look at this silly clown trying to get the zoa frag to host it. Here is one of about 5 serpents in the tank: And just a regular tank shot:
