Heres what you do.. next time going to the pet store go with her to the dog section first. Spend some time with her and show her that you care about her intrests in the store. then have her go with you to the fish section and ask her for her input. stevelkaneval is correct about her caring. You just need to fine tune it. I'm sure that she is not the only one to break something. At least she tried. Sanabanit, good one.....
The way I see it is everything in a relationship is 100% between two people. Sometimes you need to give 70% and her 30% sometimes its the other way around.

Sucks for her since My hobbies are bowling(200 per ball, I have 5 right now)
Golf(always a ton of money)
Tank(don't need to put anything here)

She did spend 200 on boots the other day so I can spend 2g's on a tank I guess right?
You think bowling is bad try motorcycle racing that is an expensive hobby LOL.

I think this is so funny. I can't believe no one can just get along! Its a hobby where you stay at home, right? Your wives know where you are. If you weren't spending money on this, it would be something else, possibly to get hurt with! I am the wife in this situation and I have the tank. My husband helps me out by doing the plumbing and he sits for quite a while in front of it. He's kinda happy I'm getting a bigger tank so he'll have more to look at! His hobby is airplanes. Real and rc. He's just happy I have a hobby so he doesn't feel so bad spending for his!

Hello--I would just go out and buy the tank. I wear the pants in this family.
Oh by the way she said I could say that.---- Jerry
