Cam Barr,
I usually use kalkwasser made from builder's lime (~97% calcium hydroxide) mixed with 15ml of white vinegar in a 3L juice container. This is then dosed according to the Ca/alk demand, which happens to be around 350ml/day. This is dripped via gravity feed 1drop/5secafter lights out. If I need fast adjustments, I also have Seachem Reef Complete and Seachem Reef Buffer. These are usually used to adjust freshly mixed ASW since Instant Ocean is a bit off on Ca and Alk. The tank will have a calcium reactor in a few weeks time. I am debating what media to use and waiting for an account with the gas supplier. I am either going to use AquaMedic's hydrocarbonate or use calcite from a sand-n-soil supplier.

So, I went into Kim's today to pick up my Aquamedic Hydrocarbonate (thanks Andrew for the great price!) and guess what I found? I found a rainbow colored Acan.! What are your chances of walking into a LFS on Saturday afternoon and finding something like that?
Anyhow, check out #3 1: Zoanthids from Matt Richards 2: Hermit getting up to some no good 3: Rainbow colored Acan.
