Even I do not have much of Chalices (few....)

Some really like med - high and some like low - med in my experience so I started with low and check them for 1-2 weeks time and depending on their color change or their response I move up....

I do keep most of them around med but low they are doing fine as well.

In my opinion chalices and Acans and blastos they really do not need to have high light so my tank I changed to T5s and took out MH (I gave up SPSs on main tank....) and put blastos bottom and Acans bottom to med and chalices med to high...

I keep mine on the bottom and they grow and color well. Approx 30" below 250 de 14k. I had one that got knocked into a cave.. was receiving very little light and I swear it grew the fastest...

Great stuff guys! I hope threads like this get people thinking about why we don;t need 'LE' labels anymore. The stuff people have been finding lately is really amazing and there are lots of unique and beautiful morphs. In this day and age hobbyists can pretty much sustain our own addiction for exotic morphs of corals w/o having to pay someone else and arm and leg just because they put their name on it.

Sorry to be a little off topic, but I have several of these posted and I know where they came from before they became limited editions. It's obvious here that there are A LOT of awesome challices out there that anyone would love to have. Ok carry on

I've got a few (well ok... more like 5 or 6), I wouldn't call it a collection, my point wasn't about what I have but what everyone else has. It's great to see so many different corals that are all equal to or better than some of the stuff being toted as 'limted', that's all.

I'm not too big on taking pics of my stuff and posting it, just not my thing... but I did slip up on another thread which has a pic or 2 of a couple frags

Here's one of mine. Sorry for the blur. Not the best angle, but I didn't want to move it in the tank.

Purple blue w/ pink eyes and red brown streaks. Kinda like a "dessert plate w/ chocolate sauce"
