Lori and Donny still have what is left of our tanks. I just so happened to buy a box of 50 ziplocks the night before so we loaded up what frags we could but nothing from the sump and quite a few things from the main tank.We got a generator went to Little Rock to pick one up from my parents which had to run the business so nothing for the tanks or house which is almost total electric the hot water tank is gas. When we finally did get a chance to do something about the tanks I had only one Leeds colony which was toast and a few zoas stck to the rocks but most had melted.John wouldn't even let me tell him the temp in the tanks he knew it was not good. Then when he went to the sump room he through out a ton of stuff that we really don't want to get into. I tried to help him and he just yelled at me "Just get out" it almost made me cry. I knew it was bad. I am just so thankful that Lori and Donny were able to save what they could for us if it was not for them it would have been a total loss. My tank seems to be getting better but I really did'nt have much a few frags. My ton of aptasia came back first (ok my 5) and the snails and crabs seem to be ok and what is weird is I have seen some pods today. John did see his peppermint today which is also weird so maybe he still has his copper banded they hide generally. I would offer what we have for the others as well but I really don't know what has survived at Lori and Donny's we have been so busy trying to get the business and everything back up and running. Maybe we will be able to stop by sunday.

InuIT's words are powerful and convey the huge sense of loss that many are dealing with here in Tulsa and probably in OKC as well.

Then when one expands from the pain re our lost tanks to the reefs in the ocean ... hard to even contemplate.

So, we must continue to learn more ...

Looking forward to getting together in a few months for a big frag exchange ReSeeding Party!

Hugs to all,
George

I'm still reeling from the thought of George hugging me, but...

I'm in the process of getting our new frag tank set up. What I have now is pretty limited, due to space constraints in the display tanks. I'm really looking forward to have LOTS of room for frag grow-out. By the time the frag swap rolls around, I should have LOTS of stuff to help people out.
