I ordered mine at MACNA and they said it would ship to me in a few weeks ... hopefully that's soon!

Julian said last week that the copies ordered at MACNA would be in this week and ship out. As soon as I get word I'll post here. Not sure when they'll be ready for purchase. I did get my copy at MACNA and it's a very sweet book, profiling many dedicated angelfish setups in addition to photos and commentary on all species... one small aquarium has been dedicated to a peppermint angel that has survived seven years after being collected about the size of a quarter. I spent a good chunk of the weekend talking to the Japanese contingent sent by Two Little Fishies about angelfish. On top of the author, the translator of the book was there (also an angelfish nut), and the owner of two major shops in Japan. They all agreed that that peppermint is probably the last surviving in Japan... Chip Boyle has apparently not collected any in three years or so.

Thanks. Let know when you find out when they go on sale. I'm in need of a "fix."

Lucky you. They wouldn't sell me one there, so i decieded not to order one.

They only had six copies of the book there. As a contributor I got one of those copies. The shipment from the publisher in Italy was delayed so they had none to sell. They were selling advanced copies and then shipping them later for free... If they sold the copies they had the first three people would have gotten copies in the first ten minutes of the show and then nobody would have been able to see the book the whole weekend...

NEW BOOK

There was one copy of the book in the raffle and Tim McRae from Michigan won it. If you were at MACNA he was the guy with the long chin wiskers and a cain, he is recovering from a MVA this summer. (MVA = motor vehicle accident) He was hanging around with one of Dick Boyds's sons who was using a wheel chair, he also was involved in a MVA.

Does anyone know were to buy this? I contacted Two Little Fishies and they said it is available. I then asked were and they directed me to their distributor list. I then told them that is the list I have been going on and I can't find anyone that stocks it. They didn't reply, which was pretty dissapointing that they wouldn't even respond as to who carried it.

I've e-mailed them as well with no answer.
I guess it is just a waiting game now. I was told at Macna it was going to ship in two weeks. One month later still no book.

I'm not sure where you can find it. It's distributed by Two Little Fishies, but I can't see where you can order it. I would contact them as it's listed as one of their books on the website:
