I had my Conspic for about two years before I found him on the floor one day. HE was the best eater in the tank. He preferred Flake and Nori of all things. I tried to get him to eat cherrystone clams and frozen food first, but then one day tried flake. I couldn't believe it when that was the food of choice. The fish did very well before he took the dive. He was in a 450, so he must have been spooked somehow. Oh well, I might try another some day. He was a very gregarious fish, always front and center and very aggressive eater. I got mine from www.justrarefish.com

Looking for a Conspic?

One of the few stores that has Conspic's on a regular basis is Old Town Aquarium in Chicago, and they do ship fish out.
A few years back they even had a 2 inch conspic., and I remember a 3 incher they had not too long ago.
