My favorite clam, an 8" Derasa. It has grown 6" in 1.5 years. Very hardy too. Survived two salinity diasasters that wiped out most of my invertabrates. Picture taken on the yellow side of 10k.

i have had it about four months. as you can see it has put on about a 1/2" of shell in that time. i figure thre years then i will have to get a bigger home for it.

This is my new clam that I got from someone who is moving.

He's under 250 MH 10K.

I use Oceania / IO mixed water so he should be happy.









This is my first clam so it should be a piece of cake since it's size. I still add a little DT for everyone else so he should be happy with the extra treat.
