Here's mine when I rescued it from the back of a LFS tank for $15:

Here it is after a little intensive "mysis therapy"

phurst, that is awesome! What a steal too, at 15 bucks!

Here's mine the day I got it:

....and once again, under the same T-5s on the bottom, a month later:

I don't know what the guy had this under but I'd love to get the deep red color back. It's extremely healthy and always wants to eat though.

Here's my lobo. I bought it from another member when I first started 6 years ago and they had had it in their tank for three years. I've fragged it three times with great success, but not a fast grower. Here's a pic, but I'll have to take a full one tomorrow.

Here's my red brain. I've never seen feeding tenticles on this, how do you feed them mysis and such?

More orange than red but still nice. Hopefully it grows up and looks like phurst's.

I've found them easiest to feed after the lights are off. Mine just extends tentacles.

I"ve noticed they're all on the sand. can they not be on the rock? mine doesn't extend over like the trachy does so I thought being on the rock would be ok, plus the fact I ran out of room on the sand where it was originally.

I moved mine onto the rock and it does just fine there. in fact if
you look closely at the picture of mine, I actually have a shell underneath it.

I've seen plenty on the rocks too, I just didn't have room for mine on the rocks.

Heres a full shot of mine. It's been in my care for six years and I bought it from a local reefer that had in theirs for three. I've since cut it in half and have two huge pieces now.
