clam attached to bottom
how do i get it off the bottom of my tank without killing it? Wiggle? Move it forward/backward? What???

take a knife and cut the byssal threads as far away from the clam as possible. Do not pull or wiggle it doing so may damage the byssal organ and kill the clam. The byssal threads are alot like our hair and finger nails, when you cut them the clam won't even feel it.

LOL next time use a shrper knife than a butter knife.
