Any guesses what this liquid is, and where to get it?
While visiting Lunchbucket's reef, I noticed his Calcium Reactor bubble counter was moving in slow motion. It was really neat, and later at Goodwin9's home, he gave me a bottle of the mystery syrup.
I noticed my bubble counter was empty again as of yesterday (it either evaporates or bubbles the liquid up the airline tubing), so I cleaned it well and filled it up with this oil Here's a video of how it looks. http://melevsreef.com/video/bubble_counter.wmv (3 megs - Right Click & Save As to your harddrive please) I don't know what it is, but there was some discussion that it might be glycerol.

Hi, not sure if this is what you were after, or whether you wanted to know where sold it in a different & cheaper form (e.g magnesium buffer / epsom salts) but it's available from marine depot called bubble counter liquid.

Thanks Adam. I figured people would ask me about it in the future, and wanted to be able to point them to the product somewhere:

Glycerin works for me Marc, got a 8oz bottle from the local pharmacy. Has many uses
I had the same thing happen but bubble counter filled with water because I'm stupid and put a valve on the outlet of my reactor (no more)
