Using putty for sps?

Would it be possible to use aqua putty to attach sps coral to rock rubble or frag mounts succesfully?

some people use it... i prefer not to because i dont think it works nearly as well as super glue. i know some online stores will not guarantee corals if aqua puddy is used because the heat that is caused by the puddy, and can burn the tissue off of sps frags.
