Yeah, its been about a month since I last cleaned it. I have some major coralline issues but at least my tank is very healthy.

I have heard that these haven't done very good in captive over long periods of time. What have you done, and what is needed to successfully keep one of these.

I have had my ritteri 2 years next month. I really have no idea, I hope to hear the posters reasons and see if there are similarities.

I have 500 watts of light for the tank and he sits right under it(one 250 watt bulb). I have a lot of flow and I use a SCWD wave maker for switching current. I think thats the biggest thing. Also, I have had my tank for three years so being stable really helps as well.
P.S. I cant keep gigantea anemones for the life of me!!! Still available!

Siapin, they are rather common at the wholesalers, but the kicker is they almost never survive hence they are rare to see someone with it for a long period of time as they do require a lot of light and very good flow. The blue/purple based ones are harder to find..
Dlckwood, I'd post this in the anemone forum as well since there are quite a few guys in there that would be able to look after your anem very well.

Beautiful little Ritteri there. If I had enough space--which I don't--I would be willing to tackle the 405 (or 5) for that little jewel. And $25 is an absolute steal. It looks very healthy, I wish you could keep it Dickwood. Obviously you know what you're doing, and so many people seem to be unable to keep Ritteries healthy.
