Thumbs up Just got back Phi Phi Island, Thailand

All i can say is wow!! I'll try to post some pics, but i'm sure it wont do it justice. Right outside the resort i was at, 75 yards out and 100 yards left and 100 yards right was a huge reef with tons on acro and clams as far as you could see. I didn't even notice the fish as much as the blue and green acros. Tons of huge monti caps, and blue digitatas, basketball size Caulestreas, and lots of scroll corals. in some areas you could tell how the tsunami wiped alot of it out. some areas had 12 inches deep of just broken acros. On the other hand the reef is thriving more than ever. 20 yards out there would be live colonies of bright green acros and they would just be loose in the sand bed, you could pick these things up and they were 2 foot sections. The sad thing is, is that they'll probably get covered by sand within a couple tide changes. Oh and the pink pocillipora was absolutely insane!! did i mention how many croceas there were!!??? sorry for rambling
