Kenya tree dropping branches

Hey all,

I'm more of an SPS freak (*ducks*) so I dont really have a lot of experience with softies. I have a 5" tall kenya tree that dropped a branch a few weeks ago, and another one today. Is this more of a "happy and healthy" thing like when fish breed, or is it stress-induced like when anemones often split?
