Yes Jesse was the one of the first if not first person to get a frag. I know he was first at the auctions. Its one mean coral but I also noticed its now got some fancy name on a few sites. I think Melissa was biding that day but not sure.

I have 1 very healthy frag of it left. The mother colony isn't looking too hot.

Ooh, if that's a platy be careful. I had a platy and a couple other echnos that could do some SERIOUS damage to neighbors. Pretty corals though! Platys and hydnos really don't lose fights.

aztbs, is your name Mellisa? I forget.
Anyhow, I'm not rubbing it in, I have a frag for you as promised. Problem is I leaned it against a rock for natural overgrowth as you can see in the picture. I broke the small rock in front from the frag square and it did not break as I intended. No whole corallites made it to the break. What are the chances of this surviving? I have it set back close to the original piece in hopes that it will grow back towards it. Is this ok? I want to try and frag it. Can I just cut a chunk off with a dimond bit on a dremel? Or do I have to be careful and cut it in a way that keepes each corralite whole and intact? Once I get a frag healed up, it's yours if you still want it. The picture with the sweepers is just after feeding. It has awesome color! Chris, good to hear from you. I heard you had some tank woes and wondered how everything has been. Are you planning a come-back or getting out?
