Did you decide to get them? They told me they are sold out, and are starting a waiting list if they do happen to get them in again.

other than having full bars and not having the pug nose feature that most of us have seen recently not really.

they are saying that these fish came directly from their collector and they will be getting more but we will see.

after work im going to go get some meds for internal paracites and im not sure what else. anyone have any suggestions on anything else i may need. they have had them in their system for a little over a week and they state they are eating and very healthy but you just never know

I spoke with one of the Bluezoo ppl in length last night and they also assured me they were wild caught. She seemed pretty excited about them. I ordered an w/c Allardi clown fish and other goodies too from them.

She also said that all clowns are on a seperate system which gets treated with meds. When the clowns get in from the wholesalers they also get dips before going into there system.

so you were the competition :-p the lady was constantly putting me on hold while on the line telling other ppl that they were gone.

and i requested any kind of docs from collection site in AU to something from the collector showing where they came from as they were VERY excited they should have something they can send.

i should be recieving them tomorrow. missed yesterdays deadline by a few minutes.

so what should i get to prep for the new arrivals. med wise?

my last encounter with w/c clowns were a pair of clarks and they came in very good shape and i had them for 2 years before i broke down my old system but these guys im trying to be more cautious with.

ok well the fish arrived at my home this morning and they are sitting on the kitchen table in the box. im at work and wont be home until about 330 or so this afnoon.

my question if i leave them packaged in the box without opening it should they be ok?

if not ill have to get my mother in law to try and get them acclimated.

based on packaging you think they would be ok its 11am now i wont be home until about 330pm

i would rather keep them where they are now and at least they arent getting bumped around its a nice calm dark warm box

this is my first expierence with this tho and i cant find anyone to get there.

hope they do ok

I can't wait to see some pics. I'd wait vs. having a less experienced person try and acclimate. I guess if they come in with brook and parasites you'll have a pretty good idea they are true W/C!

Good luck and did I mention to post pics?

o these were treated for brook / internal paracites / amyloo and a few other common clown diseases before shipped.

as per the person i was speaking with. then they went into a fully medicated system they have just for clowns and these have been doing good.

either way ill see when i get home in 90 mins

Apparently, brook has never been detected in the wild. Most likely brook manifests itself due to shipping/handling stress.

QT and treat.

Best of luck
