candy cane / trumpets

Whatever you may call them.They seem to extend thier polyps mostly at night.Is this when I should feed?

Probably that's when they'd naturally eat, but mine is tentacles-out when the fish are fed, and it sits at the edge of a cliff, so it gets a lot of upwelling. It seems happy enough with happenstance. I can't get it to cooperate with target feeding, but it seems to like cyclopeeze.

Mine eats mysis shrimp at night a little after the lights go out. its cool. lol

Yup sweeper tentacles come out on mine when the main light go out.Then they can grab some food and grow more heads.
